Advice For Travelers

It’s summer 2021, and more people are traveling now than I have ever seen in 15 years driving. Here is some sound advice, that you may not get from local news, Massport, the airline or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  1. Two hours before flight time is more than enough for a domestic flight—unless you have a large party, a lot of luggage, or have issues walking. 2.5 hours for an international flight is usually fine.
  2. We pick up at the terminal, so you do not have to walk to central parking. But communication is key, please text us upon landing, and let us know if you have a checked bag, and we will respond with car details, meetup place.
  3. When leaving the car, always check for personal items, especially your cell phone. You need that!
  4. If you need a water, go ahead and grab it. That is what it is for.
  5. We are watching your return flight, but feel free to update us once, so we know it’s off schedule.
  6. Never eat animal foods, or drink on a plane. You need to be healthy and have your wits about you.
  7. Discard your mask before you get into the car, and we can give you a new one. Or go without, we are vaccinated!
